Ingredients

-3 Grass Fed Steaks (I used Sirloin)
-3 Flounder Fillets
-1 Bunch of Green Onions
-1 Lemon
-2 Heads of Broccoli
-1 Package Mushrooms
-1/2 Stick Organic Butter
-2 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
-2 Tbsp. Teriyaki Sauce

Cooking Instructions

1.Marinate steaks in teriyaki sauce, keep them in the fridge while you prep the rest of the food

2. Make sure flounder is defrosted

3. Cut mushrooms into quarters and put in saucepan on medium with 1 Tbsp. butter

4. Remove steak from refrigerator, salt and pepper both sides, then place in hot saute pan for about 3 minutes on each side

5.  Once steak has been seared, place in oven at 400 degrees F for about 10 minutes ( I like my steak on the rare side, so cook for longer as desired)

6.  While steak is cooking, steam broccoli

7. Mushrooms should be shrinking in size, add the balsamic vinegar and put on low heat

8.  In the saute pan that the steak was seared in, place chopped green onions into pan.  Then add the flounder and juice of 1/2 lemon.  Flounder cooks fast, only a few minutes on each side will do.

9.  Let steak rest for 5 minutes before you cut it.  Put the remaining lemon on the broccoli.  Plate as seen above.

⚪️⚪️⚪️Neutrophil Nutrition ⚪️⚪️⚪️
A neutrophil is a granulocyte (a type of white blood cell) that is designed to fight off infections and diseases. Neutrophils are the most abundant type of white blood cell in the body, about 70%! These cells play an important role in the immune system. When a disease-causing microorganism enters the body, neutrophils are the first to attack. One of the ways to keep your neutrophils healthy is by giving them zinc, provided by the steak in this recipe. The zinc is not only needed to make white blood cells but also increases the aggressiveness of the white blood cells fighting infections. If you don't eat meat, toasted wheat germ is just as high in zinc as steak is.

🍄🍄🍄Another immune boost from this recipe is the Mushrooms. It is well-established that mushrooms are awesome at immune modulation and affect stem cells, lymphocytes, macrophages, T cells, dendritic cells (DCs), and natural killer (NK) cells. Extensive research over the last 40 years has shown that mushrooms slow growth of tumors, regulate tumor genes, and increase malignant cancer cell death
